Established in 1999, we are UK based guild which intends to be a dominant force in PvP, whilst maintaining the tightly-knit community atmosphere that comes with a PvE guild.

We'll be doing a lot of WvW, for which we already have detailed strategies in the works, and we will also be encouraging the formation and development of structured PvP teams within our guild. We also intend to have regular PvE dungeon runs.

Although we aim to be highly skilled and thrive on competition, our priorities are enjoyment and a strong sense of community and friendship, and this will not change.

Many of those who join [DkR] are considered members for life, and will always be welcome to participate in the clan even if they play in other clans at the same time, or if they decide to return after a long absence.

We preferably want members aged 18 and older (the average age of the current membership is 25), and want members who take the game seriously enough to play competitively, but not seriously enough to get upset about it.

Places are limited, and we are selective about who we allow to join as we absolutely do not want a zerg guild full of anonymous randoms.

Personally I'm looking forward to WvWvW, because large scale PvP isn't something that has been done well often in MMOs. If GW2 gets it right, it'll be a real breath of fresh air.

That said, we definitely want to put together a solid structured PvP team, and historically that's what our guild has always focused on - whether it be in MMOs or in FPSs (CounterStrike and TF2 primarily).
